My mission is to create beautiful, intuitive products that improve people's lives by combining empathy, data, and design. I’ve successfully delivered in big tech at eBay, large agencies like Havas Media, fintech scale-ups such as 10x, and enterprise fintech at Virgin Money.

I excel in leading end-to-end user-centric projects, overseeing in-house and third-party design teams, and nurturing strong, transparent relationships. My leadership is caring, supportive, and challenging, fostering trust and high performance.

My design approach is user-centric and data-driven, utilising industry best practices to ensure empathy guides every decision. I’ve facilitated workshops, led research initiatives, and conducted extensive user testing with proven positive results.

I’m skilled in all UX deliverables, from personas to high-fidelity prototypes, and am passionate about UI design, contributing to multiple Design Systems. With a deep understanding of front-end development and agile processes, I work closely with engineers and product owners to bring ideas to life.

I pride myself on my communication skills, building strong relationships, and leading with genuine compassion and care for my team.

I was born in South Africa and grew up in the ‘bush-felt’ near the Kruger National Park, later studied at the University of Pretoria. My first job out of Uni was at a Design Agency in The Netherlands where I learned web design and hand-coding HTML and CSS. I’m fluent in English, Afrikaans, Dutch, and basic French.

Colour Connect

An artist at heart I’ve never stopped doing art and in April 2016 I exhibited my work in a solo exhibition called Colour Connect, at The Gallery on the Corner, Battersea - see my previous exhibitions.
